Rick Werber, RPA, FMA has had a distinguished career in the hospitality industry, starting as an Assistant Chief Engineer at Marriott Hotels, Resorts, & Suites in 1983. Throughout their career, they held various leadership roles, such as District Manager at Marriott Management Services and Sodexo, National Director of Facilities Management at Marriott Senior Living Services, and Vice President of Facilities Management at Sunrise Senior Living. Currently, they serve as the Senior Vice President of Engineering and Sustainability at Host Hotels & Resorts, overseeing a vast portfolio of properties both in the US and internationally. Additionally, they have been an active member of the Board of Trustees at the Building Owners and Managers Institute International.

Rick Werber, RPA, FMA started their education by completing high school at Mamaroneck High School. Rick then went on to earn a Bachelor of Science degree in Hotel Administration from Cornell University in 1982. Later, from 2003 to 2008, they further honed their skills in Real Estate, Property, and Facilities Management at the Building Owners and Managers Institute International (BOMI).
