Maria Berdasco Menendez is a distinguished researcher and leader in the field of epigenetic therapies, currently serving as the Research Group Leader at the Josep Carreras Leukaemia Research Institute since August 2019. In addition to this role, Maria is actively involved in clinical research ethics, holding positions on the Clinical Research Ethics Committees of Hospital Universitari Germans Trias i Pujol and Hospital Universitari de Bellvitge, as well as being the Vice-chair of the Clinical Research Ethics Committee at CMR[B] Center of Regenerative Medicine in Barcelona.
