Sandi Cassese RN, MSN, CNS has a diverse and extensive work experience in the healthcare industry. Sandi has held various leadership positions in different organizations. From 1979 to 1986, Sandi worked as a Staff Nurse and Charge Nurse at Union Hospital. In 1986, they joined Benedictine Hospital as an Administrative Nurse Manager and later became the Coordinator of the Breast Center from 1994 to 1999. From 1992 to 1994, Sandi worked as an Administrator at Professional Nursing Network. In 1999, they served as a Case Manager for the United States Department of Defense. From 2000 to 2002, Sandi worked at The Healthcare Association of New York State (HANYS), where they served as the Director of the Breast Cancer Demonstration Project. Sandi then joined Vassar Brothers Medical Center, A Health Quest Affiliate in 2002, progressing from the first-ever Service Line Administrator for the Oncology product line to the Assistant Vice President (AVP) for Oncology and Ambulatory Services. In 2010, Sandi became the Vice President of Oncology Services at Health Quest System. Sandi then joined Hospice of Orange and Sullivan Counties, Inc. in 2017 as the Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, and subsequently served as the President and Chief Operating Officer from 2022 to 2023. Currently, Sandi holds the position of President and Chief Executive Officer at Hospice of Orange and Sullivan Counties, Inc.
Sandi Cassese RN, MSN, CNS completed their education in a chronological sequence. Sandi first attended The Charles E. Gregory School of Nursing, where they obtained their Diploma in Nursing. The specific years of their enrollment and completion are unknown. Following their diploma, they attended SUNY New Paltz from 1997 to 1999, earning their Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
