Mia Tran

Mia Tran is a dedicated individual with experience in various leadership and community-focused roles. As a Co-Founder of Motion4Parkinson's, Mia actively works to promote fundraisers and awareness events for Parkinson's disease. Mia is an Innovator and Alumni at The Knowledge Society, where the mission is to equip young people with skills to create a positive impact. Mia engages in leadership activities as a Ranger and previously as a Pathfinder with Girl Guides of Canada. Additionally, Mia is a member of HOSA Canada, contributing to the development of future healthcare leaders. Mia serves as a Shad Ambassador and Fellow, participating in a program centered on STEAM and entrepreneurship for high school students. In summer 2024, Mia will intern at the Lunenfeld-Tanenbaum Research Institute, focusing on aspects of pre-term birth. Currently pursuing an OSSD at Marc Garneau Collegiate Institute, Mia's diverse experiences reflect a commitment to personal growth and community service.
