Daniel Cascarano is an aspiring aerospace engineer currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering at the Technical University of Munich. Daniel serves as the CAD lead for the rear wing design of the TUfast Formula Student racing car, while also analyzing CFD results for design optimization. In addition, Daniel works as a Structural Engineer at HORYZN, focusing on aerospace-grade carbon fiber components for a VTOL drone aimed at improving emergency response for cardiac arrest situations. Previous experience includes a Manufacturing Engineering Internship at Applied Engineering, where Daniel developed manufacturing work instructions and assisted in process improvements, as well as a position as a Barista at Philz Coffee, which involved delivering customer service in high-pressure environments. Daniel's educational background includes an Associate of Science in Engineering, Physics, and Mathematics from Foothill College and a high school diploma from Leigh High School.
