Laura Steiner has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Laura is currently serving as a Member of the Board of Directors at the Laboratory Products Association and as a Board Member at the South Carolina Manufacturers Alliance. In 2019, they took on the role of President at Horizon Scientific, Inc. Prior to that, they worked at the same company as Vice President starting in 2008 and as Director of Operations from 1999 to 2008. Laura also worked as a Teacher at Berkeley County School District from 1998 to 1999 and as Programs & Marketing staff at The Charleston Museum from 1993 to 1998.

Laura Steiner's education history begins in 1989 when they enrolled at the College of Charleston. Laura spent four years studying Social Science and successfully obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in 1993. Following this, Laura Steiner pursued further education by attending The Citadel from 1996 to 1998. During their time at The Citadel, they focused on Education and earned a Master of Arts degree in the field.
