Monica Girard is a dedicated science educator with extensive experience in teaching and environmental education. Currently serving as a Science Teacher at Horizon Science Academy since October 2009, Monica has previously held teaching positions at CASTLE Community School and CASTLE High School. Prior to their teaching roles, Monica worked as an Education Specialist at Akron Zoological Park and as an Interpreter at Akron Zoo. Monica holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology from Kent State University and has further educational pursuits at Cleveland State University.
