Jake Patterson has a diverse work experience, primarily in marketing roles. Jake is currently the Director of Marketing at Horizon Credit Union since August 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Northern Quest Resort & Casino for several years, starting as a Marketing Coordinator in February 2012, then progressing to Marketing and Analytics Strategist, Marketing Manager, and finally, Director of Marketing from August 2019 to August 2023. Before that, Jake was a Sport and Athletic Marketing Intern at Eastern Washington University Athletics from November 2011 to March 2012. Jake also worked as a Building Supervisor at Greeley Ice Haus from November 2010 to August 2011 and as an Account Executive - Tickets at Spokane Chiefs Hockey Club from August 2008 to March 2010.

Jake Patterson completed their undergraduate education from 2004 to 2008 at Gonzaga University's School of Business Administration, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Marketing. Following a two-year gap, they pursued further education from 2010 to 2012 at the University of Northern Colorado, where they obtained a Master of Science degree in Sport Administration.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Jake Patterson achieved certification in the DDI Facilitator Certification Process Workshop in November 2019. This certification was obtained from DDI | Development Dimensions International.
