Stelios Petrakis has a long history of working in technology. Stelios began their career in 2004 as a Web Developer at the Network Operations Center at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. In 2005, they moved on to become a Web Developer / Programmer at Wiggler. In 2007, Stelios founded and developed Slideflickr. Stelios then moved on to Phaistos Networks in 2008 as a Developer. In 2012, they co-founded and developed Evil Window Dog. Most recently, Stelios has been the Co-founder and CEO of Horizon Video Technologies since 2014.

Stelios Petrakis received their Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH) in 2007. Stelios then went on to receive their Master's Degree in Computer Science from the same university in 2009.
