Oliver Vakomies is an Intermediate Full-Stack Developer at Horizn since September 2021, with a strong background in web development and IT support gained during tenure as a student and web developer at the University of Waterloo from September 2016 to April 2021. At the University, Oliver developed a job listing website using Laravel and MySQL, managed IT support for students and staff, and taught classes on data structures and algorithms. Previous experience includes a Cyber Security Engineering Co-op at BlackBerry, where Oliver developed Python libraries and conducted risk assessments, and earlier web development roles utilizing the LAMP stack. Oliver holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Nanotechnology Engineering from the University of Waterloo.
