Troy Gayle began their work experience in 1996 as the Head of Equities & Alternatives Portfolio Manager at Westfield Group/Westfield Insurance. Troy then moved to Excelsia Investment Advisors in 2011, where they held the position of Chief Investment Officer until 2014. In 2015, Troy joined Horace Mann as the Vice President, Investments & Treasurer, where they continue to work.

Troy Gayle holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Commerce from the University of Virginia. Troy also obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from Cleveland State University. Additionally, they hold the certifications of Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) from the CAIA Association, obtained in 2011, and Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) from the CFA Institute, obtained in 2004.
