Holly H. began their work experience as a Student Worker at the University of Illinois System in 2017, where they worked until 2021. In 2021, Holly worked as an Intern at Illinois PIRG from August to December. Holly then joined Horace Mann in 2021 as an Office Administrative Assistant until August 2022, when they became an Office Manager until March 2023. Currently, Holly holds the position of Director of Operations at Horace Mann starting from March 2023. Additionally, in 2022, Holly served as a Board Member at the YMCA of the University of Illinois from August to November.

Holly H. obtained a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science with a minor in Legal Studies from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in the years 2019-2023. Holly also acquired various additional certifications from different institutions, including Core IRB Training (obtained in February 2022), Advanced Lead Generation, Data for Good: Using Data Science in Nonprofits and NGOs, Financial Forecasting with Big Data, Algorithmic Trading and Stocks Essential Training (all obtained in 2021), Moving the Needle at Work: Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (expected in 2024), and Grant Writing for Education (obtained in 2021). Holly also completed multiple levels of OBFS Cash Handling certification from the University of Illinois System between the years 2017 and 2021.
