Mehdi Rizvi, MD, MS, serves as the Director of Emergency Management at the University of Maryland Medical Center's R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center since 2020 and holds the position of Executive Advisor at Hopkins Biotech Network since 2016. Since 2012, Mehdi Rizvi has also worked as a Consultant and Administrator for the U.N. Consultancy Medical Organization - I.M.I. Previously, from 2016 to 2020, Mehdi Rizvi was a Senior Performance Improvement Consultant and Emergency Management Process Improvement Advisor at Johns Hopkins Medicine. An Associate Consultant Intern at Sage Growth Partners, LLC in 2016, Mehdi Rizvi co-founded and served as the Director of Finance for JHU Private Equity & Venture Capital from 2015 to 2016. Clinical experience was gained at Northwestern Affiliated Hospitals-Chicago from 2011 to 2014. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Healthcare Management from The Johns Hopkins University, a Doctor of Medicine from Northwestern School of Medicine Affiliated Sites and Spartan Health Sciences, a Bachelor of Science in Sports Biology from Springfield College, and a high school diploma from Longmeadow High School.
