Mohammad Ashiqur Rahman

Mohammad Ashiqur Rahman has a wealth of experience in HR and compliance roles. Mohammad Ashiqur is currently serving as the Head of People & Culture at Hop Lun since April 2021. Prior to this, they worked as the Assistant General Manager HR & Compliance at Fakir Fashion Ltd. from May 2019 to March 2021. Before that, they held the same role at MBM Group Bangladesh from June 2018 to May 2019. Mohammad also has experience at Epyllion Group, where they served as the Manager HR & Compliance, Deputy Manager HR & Compliance, and Assistant Manager HR & Compliance from 2011 to 2018. Mohammad Ashiqur started their career as an Assistant Manager HR & Compliance at Epic Group from 2009 to 2011 and had a similar role at Shishir Group from 2007 to 2009. Mohammad's early experience includes working as a Documentation Officer cum GSV (C-TPAT) Coordinator at Intertek Bangladesh from 2005 to 2007.

Mohammad Ashiqur Rahman completed their education in several institutions. Mohammad Ashiqur first attended Dhanmondi Govt. Boys' High School from 1996 to 1997, where they obtained a Secondary School Certificate in the field of Science. From 1998 to 1999, they studied at Government Science College and earned a Higher Secondary Certificate in Science.

After completing their secondary education, Mohammad Ashiqur Rahman pursued further studies at Shahjalal University of Science and Technology from 1999 to 2004. During this time, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in the field of Statistics.

Apart from their formal education, Rahman also obtained various certifications in different fields. In 2009, they completed a Short Executive Training on Labour Law from Dhar & Associates. In the same year, they also received training on Fire Prevention, Fire Extinction, Rescue, First Aid, and Safe Evacuation from Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA).

In 2011, Rahman participated in two courses related to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) conducted by Reed Consulting Bangladesh Ltd. These courses were "CSR Master Class - CSR for Expert" and "Introducing World Class CSR."

In 2012, they completed a Post Graduation Diploma in Human Resource Management from Bangladesh Institute of Management. Furthermore, Rahman attended multiple training courses such as "Lead Auditor Course on 9001:2015" from International Register of Certificated Auditors in 2017, "Internal Auditor Course on Environmental Management System (ISO 14001:2015)" from SGS Bangladesh Limited in 2016, and "OHSAS 18001:2007 Lead Auditor Course" from International Register of Certificated Auditors in 2014.

Lastly, in 2018, Rahman attended two courses from Sapien Institute of Management Leadership, namely "Leading People & Team: Adaptive Leadership & Supervisory Excellence (Advance Level)" and "Advance Managerial Communication." Additionally, in 2020, they completed the "SLCP course: Facility Course and Certificate" from the International Trade Centre.
