Michael Szubelak is an experienced legal professional, currently serving as Senior Legal Counsel at Hootsuite since June 2021, after a tenure as Legal Counsel. Prior to Hootsuite, Michael held positions as Corporate Counsel at SS&C Technologies from June 2018 to June 2021, and at CACEIS Canada prior to its acquisition by SS&C Technologies from December 2015 to May 2018. Earlier in Michael's career, experience was gained as a Lawyer at The Spurline Group from June 2014 to January 2016. Michael holds a Juris Doctor degree from York University - Osgoode Hall Law School, obtained in 2012, and completed an Osgoode Certificate in Negotiating and Drafting IT Agreements in 2020. Additionally, Michael earned an Honours BA in Geography from Western University in 2006.
