Jim Kataras has extensive experience in the finance and investment industry. Jim began their career at Morguard Investments Limited in 1993, where they worked as the Chief Accountant for nearly 10 years. In 2003, Jim joined Redcliff Realty Management Inc. as the Controller, where they stayed until 2008. Since then, they have been working at HOOPP (Healthcare of Ontario Pension Plan), initially as the Director of Real Estate & Private Equity in the Investment Operations department. In 2016, Jim was promoted to Senior Director of Real Estate in the same department.

Jim Kataras attended the University of Toronto from 1986 to 1990, where they earned an Honours BA degree in Commerce & Economics. Apart from their degree, no additional certifications or institutions have been provided.
