Orestes Polyzos is an accomplished software engineering professional with extensive experience in leading development teams and projects across diverse technology stacks. Currently serving as the Head of Software Engineering at Hoopcare since April 2022, Orestes drives the creation of an innovative surgical platform improving patient experiences in France and the US. Previous roles include Freelance Software Engineer, contributing to various software projects, and working with Deutsche Telekom Pan-Net on the "Magenta Zuhause TV" app. Orestes has also developed backend solutions for Payzy with Cognity, and has experience in the Hellenic Army's Research & IT department. Additional contributions to the banking sector were made during tenures at Agile Actors. Orestes holds a Bachelor's degree in Informatics from the University of Piraeus.
