Kathy Stinson has extensive nursing and healthcare management experience. Kathy started their career at Scottsdale Healthcare in 1990 as an Administrative Representative, where they worked until 2000. During this time, they gained valuable administrative skills. In 2000, they transitioned into a Nurse Manager role at Scottsdale Healthcare, overseeing the Orthopedics and Total Joint Center. Kathy successfully developed a joint replacement program and demonstrated high patient satisfaction and quality metrics. In 2009, they joined Scottsdale Lincoln Health Network as the Director of the Ortho/Neuro Serviceline. After five years, they were promoted to the role of Vice President Operations/Chief Nursing Officer. In this position, Kathy was responsible for ensuring operational excellence in nursing and support services, leading quality improvement initiatives, and overseeing hospital operations. Kathy has a strong vision for nursing and a track record of achieving exemplary patient outcomes.
Kathy Stinson earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Oakland University from 1977 to 1980. Kathy later obtained a Doctorate of Nursing Practice from Case Western Reserve University between 2009 and 2013, with a focus on healthcare leadership. Additionally, they completed a Masters of Science in Nursing Leadership from Grand Canyon University, although the specific start and end years are unknown.
