Erica M. has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Erica started their career as a Registered Nurse in the CVICU/Med-Surg ICU at Scottsdale Healthcare in 2003. Erica then worked as a Registered Nurse in the Neonatal ICU at St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center from 2007 to 2008. From 2008 to 2010, Erica worked as a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Room at St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center. Erica then transitioned to the role of Clinical Supervisor in the Emergency Department, where they supervised a team of 125+ FTEs and collaborated with physicians to improve performance and patient outcomes. From 2010 to 2013, Erica served as the Clinical Supervisor/Coordinator in the same department, where they improved patient experience scores, workflow, process, and financial performance. Erica then became the Manager of the Patient Experience Program at St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center from 2013 to 2016, leading initiatives to improve quality and enhance the patient experience. Erica then joined Mayo Clinic as a Nurse/Operations Manager, overseeing day-to-day operations, budget, staffing, productivity, quality, and access to care. In 2017, Erica became a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room at Banner Health, gaining experience in various types of surgeries. In 2019, Erica joined Phoenix Children's Hospital as a Clinical Supervisor of Surgery, overseeing materials, clinical care, and operations. Currently, they are the Senior Director of Network Operations at HonorHealth, responsible for the oversight and alignment of hospital staffing, resource management, patient placement, and operational effectiveness.

Erica M. holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Arizona State University, which was obtained between 2001 and 2003. Erica also obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from Grand Canyon University between 2013 and 2015. Erica M. has an additional certification as a Nurse Executive Advanced (NEA-BC) from the American Nurses Association.
