Roberto Perpuly has over fifteen years of experience in software engineering. In 2004, they began working at Guidance Software as an EnScript Programmer, responsible for developing the company's Lab Edition Web 2.0 Rich Client Application. In 2007, they joined yellowpages.com as a Software Engineer, where they implemented a text fingerprinting web service in Ruby using REST techniques. Later that year, they began working at Verifi as a Lead Software Engineer, where they led a team of five software engineers and acted as scrum master. In 2011, they moved to Thought Convergence as a Senior Software Engineer, where they designed and implemented a JSON API for automating online escrow transactions. In 2014, they joined Playtika Santa Monica as a Senior Software Engineer, where they maintained the company's back office software suite. In 2015, they began working at Monsoon Company as a Software Engineer IV, where they completed several projects using the latest front-end web technologies and mentored other developers in the TDD process. Finally, they joined HONK Technologies as a Software Engineering Lead, where they were part of a team that developed software connecting stranded motorists, tow truck operators, and customer service agents. Roberto also took on a leadership position, helping guide other developers through the various systems.

Roberto Perpuly obtained a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from California State University-San Bernardino between 2001 and 2004.
