Chris Ratay has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Chris started their career in the hospitality industry, working in various roles at Hyatt Hotels and Resorts & Starwood Hotels and Resorts from 1986 to 1999. Chris then worked as the Director of Sales and Marketing / Area DOSM at the Omni Severin Hotel - Indianapolis from 2002 to 2011. After that, they served as the General Manager at St. Elmo Steak House from 2011 to 2015. Chris then took on the role of Vice President of Operations at Bob's Steak and Chop House for a short period in 2015. From 2016 to 2018, they worked as the General Manager at Le Meridien Hotel Indianapolis. Subsequently, they held the position of Vice President at Klipsch Marketing & Advisors from 2018 to 2020. Chris then joined Geronimo Hospitality Group as the Vice President of Sales from 2020 to 2022. Following that, they worked as an Interim Executive / Consultant at Shady Lane Cellars in 2022 and at Mavris Arts and Event Center in 2023. Currently, they are serving as the Vice President of Hospitality at Honeywell Arts & Entertainment.

Chris Ratay attended Purdue University from 1982 to 1986, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Hotel Management.
