Affan Bin Usman is a skilled research engineer currently employed at Honda Research Institute USA, Inc. since December 2023. Previously, Affan served as a data engineer at Jenius Bank and a faculty associate at Arizona State University, where responsibilities included teaching engineering fundamentals to undergraduate students. With experience as a research intern in the Interactive Robotics Laboratory, Affan focused on AI and machine learning for robotic applications. A former process engineer at Pakistan Oxygen Limited, Affan optimized production processes and ensured compliance with various safety standards. Affan holds a Master of Science in Artificial Intelligence and Robotics from Arizona State University and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from the National University of Sciences and Technology.
