Takhon Chotikhun is a Design Engineer at Honda R&D Asia Pacific Co. Ltd. since January 2014, specializing in engine component part design, including plastic injection parts and sheet metal stamping and welding parts. Responsibilities include designing engine components while considering performance, requirements, engine room layout feasibility, and part durability, as well as performing CAE simulations to optimize prototype lead times and costs. Takhon also participated in the Global Assignment Program at Honda R&D Co., Ltd. from September 2015 to September 2016, where training focused on intake and exhaust system design concepts with Japanese specialists. Takhon holds a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree in Automotive Engineering from Thai-Nichi Institute of Technology, completed in 2013.
