Jérôme Rutily has a diverse range of work experience. Jérôme started their career as an Intégrateur at eServGlobal in 2007 and then moved on to work as a Software Engineer at ACTOLL from 2007 to 2014. In 2009, they also took on the role of an Ingénieur at CORYS TESS, which lasted until 2013. Following that, they worked as an Ingénieur at Gfi Informatique from 2014 to 2017, and concurrently as an Ingénieur at Xerox from 2014 to 2017. Jérôme then joined Cowork In Grenoble as a Coworker in 2017. Currently, they are employed as a Senior Software Engineering at HOMIWOO since June 2017, where they are responsible for managing the data processing pipeline for real estate data.

Jérôme Rutily obtained their DUT in Informatique Génie Logiciel from IUT 2 Grenoble in 2003. Following this, they pursued their studies at the National School of Computer Science and Applied Mathematics of Grenoble, where they completed their engineering degree in Informatique from 2003 to 2006. In 2005 to 2006, Jérôme also participated in the Cursus Internationnal Ensimag program at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, specializing in Informatique.
