Alex Hervey has a diverse background in the financial industry, with a focus on business intelligence and data management. They started their career as a Credit Risk Analyst and later became a Senior Credit Risk Analyst, where they monitored client portfolios and resolved residential loan-level issues. They then worked as a Compliance Analyst, familiarizing themselves with the mortgage industry and adhering to NMS guidelines. Alex also had experience as a Data Integration Specialist, providing support for CRM data ingestion and reconciliation. They eventually transitioned into a role as a Business Intelligence Analyst, where they developed and implemented complex reporting and analytical processes regarding mortgages and mortgage-backed securities. Their most recent position was as a Manager of BI and Data Analytics, where they led a team in delivering high-quality BI solutions and analyses.

Alex Hervey holds a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Database Technology from Regis University, which was obtained between 2016 and 2018. Prior to that, Alex earned a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from the University of Colorado Boulder, completing the program between 2009 and 2013.

In addition to their formal education, Alex Hervey has also obtained certifications. In August 2016, they received a Certificate in Database Development from Regis University. Later, in November 2022, they obtained an Inclusive Tech: Breaking Bias in Tech certification from LinkedIn.
