Alycia Suriyakumar, CPA, CA, currently serves as the Director of Finance Systems and Controls at HomeEquity Bank since January 2022, after holding the position of Director of Finance. Prior experience includes roles as Manager of Global Accounting at Sun Life, Manager of Revenue Cycle & Finance Transformation at The Hospital for Sick Children, and Financial Controller/Associate Director at UBS, where key achievements included implementing process improvements and overseeing financial reporting under IFRS. Alycia also worked as a Senior Audit Associate at PwC, gaining exposure to various industries and managing audit engagements. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Accounting and a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Financial Management from the University of Waterloo, alongside CPA, CA certification.
