Melissa Kahsar is an experienced healthcare professional with a diverse background in nursing and biotechnology. Currently serving as a Registered Nurse at Lakota Local Schools since December 2013, Melissa has also been an Independent Contractor at DNA Diagnostics Center since February 2014. Previous roles include Associate Laboratory Director at Orchid Cellmark and Assistant Laboratory Director at DNA Diagnostics Center. Melissa's academic credentials include a Master of Science in Nursing from Xavier University, a PhD in Medical Genetics from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Purdue University.
