Robert Hsu, FCIP, CRM

Director of Client Success at Homecare Hub

Robert Hsu has a diverse work experience in the insurance and customer service sectors. Robert is currently working as a Public Adjuster at Sobel Adjusting Solutions and as the Director of Client Success at Homecare Hub, both starting in 2022. Prior to these roles, Robert was employed at Desjardins from 2011 to 2022, where they held the positions of Section Manager and Casualty Claims Specialist. Before that, they served as the Managing Partner at Insurance Professional Plus+ from 2008 to 2011. Robert also worked as a Multi-Line Claims Adjuster at McLarens from 2005 to 2008, a Casualty Field Adjuster at Intact from 2003 to 2005, and a Multi-Line Claims Adjuster at Sobel, Adamsons, Clements Insurance Adjusters from 2001 to 2003. Their earlier experience includes a role as a Branch Manager at Enterprise Rent-A-Car from 1999 to 2001.

Robert Hsu attended Western University from 1995 to 1999, where they obtained a degree in Administrative and Commercial Studies with a focus on Business Administration and Management. In 2001, they continued their education at the Insurance Institute of Canada and obtained a degree in Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) from 2001 to 2005, specializing in Insurance.

In 2012, Robert Hsu pursued further education at the Insurance Institute of Canada and obtained the title of Fellow Chartered Insurance Professional (FCIP) from 2012 to 2016, enhancing their expertise in Insurance. In the same year, they also obtained the Certified Risk Manager (CRM) certification from RIMS (Risk and Insurance Management Society, Inc.).

In 2016, Robert Hsu attended the University of Toronto and obtained a degree in Canadian Risk Management (CRM) specializing in Risk Management from 2016 to 2017. With their comprehensive educational background and certifications, Robert Hsu has developed a strong foundation in both Business Administration and Management as well as Risk Management within the insurance industry.
