Preston Jarnagin has a diverse work experience. Preston began their career in 2009 as a Driver and Insider at Pizza Cafe. In 2011, they worked as a Field Task Manager, Account Manager, and IT Manager at Your Castle Real Estate, where they provided technical support for office computers and individuals. From 2012 to 2014, they worked at The Melting Pot Restaurants as a Server Assistant, Drink Runner, and Trainer, ensuring excellent customer service and providing advice and knowledge on various drinks and menu items. Preston then moved to Garbanzo Mediterranean Grill, where they worked as an Associate from 2014 to 2015. In 2015, they became the Cheese Lead at King Soopers/City Market. In 2018, they attended the Turing School of Software & Design, a 7-month, full-time training program, where they learned how to build Professional Web Applications in Ruby and JavaScript using TDD and Agile, optimization through APIs, services, and benchmarking, and how to communicate and problem solve with others in a highly technical environment. Since 2019, they have been working as a Full Stack Engineer and Junior Full Stack Engineer at Homebot.

Preston Jarnagin's education history includes attending the Turing School of Software & Design from 2018 to 2019, where they obtained a Back-End Engineering certification in March 2019. Preston also attended the University of Colorado Boulder from 2014 to 2015, studying Computer Science. Prior to that, they attended Colorado State University from 2013 to 2014, also studying Computer Science. Preston attended Metropolitan State University of Denver from 2012 to 2013, where they studied Computer Science.
