Hekmat Shammout has extensive experience in educational settings, currently serving as Support Staff at Holy Trinity Catholic School since April 2018. Prior to this role, Hekmat worked as an EAP Tutor at the University of Nottingham during various short terms between 2018 and 2021. Additionally, experience as a Substitute Teacher with ABC Teachers took place from March 2020 to September 2020. Hekmat's earlier career includes teaching English as a Second Language at the University of Kalamoon and serving as an Academic English Lecturer at Jami't Al-Ba'ath. Academically, Hekmat holds a Master of Arts in Drama and Dramatics/Theatre Arts from the University of Birmingham, completing studies there from 2015 to 2018, and a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from Jami't Al-Ba'ath, earned from 2001 to 2005.
