Dr. McGeary has dedicated her professional career to education and the processes that lead to transformation and faith formation, including strategic planning, innovative program development, problem-solving, conflict resolution, collaboration, team building, professional development, and budget management.
She has held several administrative and faculty roles at Felician University since 2009, including as the Vice President for Academic Affairs and Mission Integration and Professor of Religious Studies. Other roles at Felician included Chair of Religious Studies and Philosophy, Associate Dean of Social and Behavioral Sciences, and Executive Director of Mission Integration. She served as the Chair of the Academic Prioritization Task Force as a member of the University's Strategic Planning Team and co-wrote the Felician University Strategic Plan 2014-19.
In addition, Dr. McGeary has served as Assistant Professor of Theology and Philosophy at Caldwell College and an instructor at St. Peter’s College. She also taught at the Villa Walsh Academy, a Catholic college preparatory school in Morristown, NJ, and spent nearly 20 years serving in several parish ministry positions involving curriculum design, strategic planning for parish management, and certification instruction for catechetical ministers.
