Douglas Andersen is a seasoned tax professional with over 20 years of specialized experience in state and local tax services. Currently serving as a partner at HCVT since June 2020, Doug leads the State and Local Tax Services practice, providing multistate tax services to large and midsize corporate and flow-through clients, particularly in high technology and consumer business sectors. Doug previously held the position of partner at Deloitte Tax LLP, where Douglas significantly expanded the Pacific Northwest multistate tax services practice. Prior to that, Doug was the director of state and local tax at Expedia, managing comprehensive tax responsibilities for the company. Doug began their career at Deloitte as a tax manager, focusing on multistate tax planning and compliance engagements. Doug holds a Master of Accounting in Tax and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting with a focus on Taxation from Brigham Young University.
