Jytte Ø. Dideriksen was educated in a hardware store and later as a nurse, a reflexologist, a podiatrist, and a social and health assistant. For the past 16 years, she has been employed as a social and health assistant at Plejecentret Beringshaven in Holstebro, where she is a supervisor for their social and health assistant students during their municipal internship, and a mentor for some of those they receive from the Jobcenter.
