Daniel Bieckmann is a Sustainability Consultant at Metabolic since June 2019, focusing on applying systems thinking to develop circular economies in urban settings. Bieckmann obtained a Master of Science degree in Design and Urban Ecologies from the Parsons School of Design, achieving a GPA of 3.89. Prior experiences include a student consultant role at the Dutch Ministry of Infrastructure and the Environment, participation in the Netherlands-Asia Honours Summer School, and tutoring children with learning disadvantages. Bieckmann has also been involved in community initiatives, serving as a General Board member and Head of PR for a permaculture garden project in Amsterdam, and has diverse educational backgrounds spanning environmental sciences and Chinese politics at several esteemed institutions.
