Shmee Giarratana is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in academia and creative management. Currently serving as the Director of Student Success and International Student Advisor, as well as an Adjunct Professor at the California Institute of Integral Studies since January 2019, Shmee also functions as a Program Manager and Workshop Facilitator at Holos Institute. In addition, Shmee is the Administrative Director and Creative Director at The Art of Shmee, overseeing social media and online storefront management. Prior roles include Academic Administrator at the Academy of Art University, where responsibilities encompassed curriculum development, budgeting, and project management for the School of Landscape Architecture. Shmee’s earlier experiences include positions as a Farm Intern and Events Coordinator, along with serving as an Executive Assistant to the CEO at Business Intelligence Associates. Education credentials include a Master of Arts in Psychology from Sonoma State University and dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in Film/Cinema/Video Studies and Film Studies from the University of North Carolina Wilmington.
