Michal Ormos has a diverse work experience. In 2022, Michal began working as a Student Mentor at Coding Giants Česká Republika. In 2021, Michal began a role as a DevOps Engineer at Holm Security, a role they held for the same company in 2021. From 2017 to 2021, Michal worked at Sewio Networks s.r.o. as a DevOps Engineer, Software (R&D) Engineer, and Software (R&D) Engineer Intern. In 2017, Michal also worked as a Knowledge Technology Research Group at Vysoké učení technické v Brně, where their role involved using Semantic Technologies to Access Cultural Heritage Through The Central Portal of Czech Libraries, Big Data, and Machine Learning. Additionally, in 2017, Michal worked as a RedHat Lab Collaborator with students at VUT FIT, where their role involved creating a python/gstreamer application for auto-building and streaming video conferences. Finally, in 2016, Michal worked as a Pool Manager at AquaSafe Pool Management, Inc. as part of a Work & Travel program to improve their soft skills, English language, and explore world opportunities.

Michal Ormos obtained a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from the Brno University of Technology from 2014 to 2017. Michal then attended the Universidad de Valladolid in 2018 for Ingenerería Informática. Michal returned to the Brno University of Technology from 2017 to 2020 to obtain an Inženýr (Ing.) in Information Technology Security (MSc.). In 2021, they obtained additional certifications from Rice University, Amazon Web Services (AWS), and Rancher Labs.
