Paul Botha is an experienced professional with a strong background in risk engineering and process safety. As the Head of Geocycle Risk Engineering at Holcim since June 2011, Paul has led global process safety initiatives and managed project safety aspects. Previously, Paul served as a Risk Engineer, where waste management policies and safety standards were developed, and a corporate Risk Management Program was implemented. Prior experience includes working as an Energy Manager at AfriSam, focusing on energy policies and legislative contributions, and as a Sales Manager at FFS Refiners, specializing in industrial fuel oil. Paul holds a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree in Chemical, Hazardous Materials Management, and Waste from the University of Pretoria, obtained between 1991 and 1996.
