Melanie West is an experienced interior design professional currently working at HOK since July 2021, where responsibilities include serving as a Sustainable Design Specialist and previously as a Sustainable Design Intern. Prior to this role, Melanie contributed to the University of Missouri-Columbia from May 2019 to July 2021 as a Space Planning and Management Student Technical Assistant and Teaching Assistant for the course ARCHST2100: Understanding Architecture and the American City. Melanie holds a Bachelor of Science in Human Environmental Sciences with a focus on Architectural Studies and Interior Design from the University of Missouri-Columbia, attained in 2021, and a high school diploma from Blue Valley High School, completed in 2016.
