Jonathan Hoffman has a diverse work experience that spans various legal and corporate roles. Jonathan started their career as a Legal Assistant at Kaye, Scholer LLP in 2000, and later worked as a Legal Assistant at Arnold & Porter in 2001. In 2001, they also served as a Research Assistant at the Office of Senator Joseph Lieberman.
Hoffman then joined Hoffman Auto Group as Of Counsel from 2005 to 2006, and later worked as a Staff Attorney at Arnold & Porter from 2006 to 2007. Jonathan then served as a Staff Attorney at Shook, Hardy & Bacon LLP from 2007 to 2010, where they were involved in the discovery process for pharmaceutical and medical devices litigation.
In 2010, Hoffman worked as a Project Manager at Hudson Legal, where they supervised and trained attorneys and support staff responsible for document review. Jonathan then worked as a Securities Attorney at Grais & Ellsworth LLP from 2011 to 2012, representing a federal home loan bank in litigation related to mortgage-backed security certificates.
Hoffman then joined Venable LLP in 2012 as an SEC & White Collar Defense Attorney, specializing in Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) and Anti-Corruption matters. In 2014, they returned to Hoffman Auto Group and held several roles, including Corporate Operations & Legal Counsel, Fixed Operations Manager, and currently, Fixed Operations Director.

Jonathan Hoffman attended Phillips Academy (Andover) from 1993 to 1997. Following this, they pursued their undergraduate studies at Cornell University from 1997 to 2001 and earned a B.A. Cum Laude with Honors in Government. After completing their bachelor's degree, they enrolled at the American University Washington College of Law and obtained a J.D. from 2002 to 2005. Additionally, Jonathan Hoffman holds certifications from the American Bar Association, including the Connecticut Bar and New York Bar, although the specific dates of obtaining these certifications are unavailable.
