Klaus Wawra is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in project management and engineering within the automotive industry. Currently serving as Project Management & Site Lead at hofer powertrain since July 2022, Klaus previously held the position of Lead Engineer Electromechanical Design at Magna International from April 2018 to June 2022. Prior experience includes working as a Forschungs- und Entwicklungsingenieur at AVL from January 2015 to March 2018, focusing on gasoline engine development and concept car projects, as well as a role as a Student Trainee at AVL from July 2012 to March 2014, where Klaus conducted CFD analysis for internal combustion engines. Klaus holds a Diplom-Ingenieur degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Technology from Hochschule Mittweida and an Ingenieur degree in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on Vehicle Technology from HTL Wien 20 TGM.
