Daniel Muthmann currently serves as Vice President of Business Development at Höegh LNG, focusing on advancing a secure and sustainable energy supply for Europe. Prior to this role, Daniel held various key positions including Managing Director of Energy & Climate at Berkeley Research Group LLC, Chairman of the Board of Advisors at evety, and Chair of the European Hydrogen Backbone Initiative. Daniel's extensive experience also includes leading corporate development and strategy at Open Grid Europe GmbH and serving as Chairman for the Gas for Climate Initiative, which advocates for renewable and decarbonized gas solutions. Daniel's educational background includes a degree in Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen from Technische Universität Darmstadt and further executive education from institutions such as Harvard Business School and ESMT Berlin.
