Luis Fernando Fonseca is an experienced exploration manager with a strong background in geological advisory and exploration. Since November 2020, Luis has been leading exploration efforts as the Exploration Manager at Hocol. Prior to this role, Luis served as a Senior Geological Advisor for Occidental de Colombia LLC and Oxy from January 2012 to November 2020, focusing on opportunity screening across various sedimentary basins in Colombia and assessing unconventional resource plays in the Middle and Upper Magdalena Valley Basins. Luis holds a Master of Business Administration in International Business from CESA and Carleton (Sprott School of Business), completed between 2014 and 2016.
