Birgit Vock-Wannewitz

Birgit Vock-Wannewitz is the current Deputy Dean & Academic Senate Member at Hochschule Bremerhaven.

Birgit began their career as an Industriekauffrau at Hans Schwarzkopf GmbH, now known as the Henkel-Gruppe. Birgit then transitioned to Schwarzkopf & Clynol as a Product Manager before becoming a Manager at A.T. Kearney in the Automotive Practice.

In 1998, Birgit became a Partner at IPSUM GbR - Talent- and Business Development. Two years later, they founded IPSUM - Akademie für persönliche Entwicklung, where they served as Director until 2010. From there, Birgit took on the role of Director Talent Management at Johnson Controls until 2013.

Most recently, Birgit has taken on the position of Deputy Dean & Academic Senate Member at Hochschule Bremerhaven. In this role, they are responsible for talent management, organizational development, learning & development, and talent acquisition & retention.

Birgit Vock-Wannewitz is a Doctor of Philosophy with a specialization in Linguistics / Marketing / Psychology. Birgit attended Bielefeld University and the Presencing Institute.
