Mona Safari is an accomplished IT leader with extensive experience in healthcare technology and project management. Currently serving as the Director of IT Applications for Clinical Specialty Applications at Hoag Health System since August 2020, Mona previously worked at Kaiser Permanente from January 2012 to December 2019, where responsibilities included overseeing IT solutions and strategic planning for one of the largest service areas, managing a diverse team, and delivering comprehensive IT projects. Earlier roles include Program Project Manager at Stater Bros and Sr. Technical Business Consultant at Western & Southern Financial Group, with a strong technical foundation established during tenure as a Sr. Consultant at Keane. Mona holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Bowling Green State University and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Tehran.
