Gene Ramos, P.E., currently serves as Associate Vice President and Nevada Practice Lead at HNTB since May 2021. Prior to this role, Gene held positions at Jacobs as Senior Highway Project Manager, at Atkins as Senior Project Manager, and at Sigma Engineering Solutions, Inc. as Senior Engineering Manager, contributing to major Public Works and Capital Improvement Projects across various states. Earlier experience includes roles at Louis Berger as Senior Civil Engineer and at the Las Vegas Valley Water District as Civil Engineer, P.E. Gene’s career began as Engineer II at Post Buckley Schuh & Jernigan Inc., specializing in geometric and utility design for transportation projects. Gene holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Nevada-Las Vegas and a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from Norwich University.
