Anssi Keränen has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Anssi started their career as an Entrepreneur at Suomen Sisustustakka Oy, where they managed the company for over seven years. Anssi then worked as a Store Manager at Kirjasalkku Oy, overseeing a team of part-time employees and handling various responsibilities including payroll calculations, marketing, and product orders. Anssi then joined HBC Service Oy as an Assistant Store Manager, where they assisted in setting up the company and managing cash registers and marketing procedures.

Anssi ventured into the accounting and finance field by joining EY as a Trainee, and later worked as an Associate. During this time, they actively took on challenging tasks, worked autonomously and as part of a team, and gained valuable financial knowledge. Anssi progressed to the Senior Associate level, where they regained the responsibilities they had as an entrepreneur and also participated in the hiring process.

Currently, Anssi is working at HMD Global as a Business Controller. In this role, they manage intellectual property rights, royalties, logistics, and inventory management. Anssi collaborates with cross-functional teams to develop strategies and ensure accurate accounting and forecasting processes.

Throughout their work experience, Anssi demonstrated adaptability, a proactive approach to work, and an ability to thrive in constantly changing environments.

Anssi Keränen started their education in 2006 at Helsinki Business College Oy, where they obtained a Vocational Qualification in Business Administration with a focus on General Sales, Merchandising, and Related Marketing Operations. Anssi completed their studies in 2009.

In the same year, Anssi also attended Töölön Yhteiskoulun aikuislukio, where they graduated from upper secondary school.

Moving on to higher education, Anssi enrolled at Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences in 2016, majoring in Accounting and Finance. Anssi pursued a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree and completed their studies in 2020.

Currently, Anssi is furthering their education at the University of Eastern Finland, pursuing a Master of Science (MS) degree in Accounting and Finance, with an expected graduation date in the future.
