Attiatul Aleem is an experienced Employment Coach and Community Settlement Specialist with HMC Connections since February 2022, and has been associated with Halton Multicultural Council Inc. as a facilitator and interpreter since December 2014. Aleem provides support to newcomers in the Halton region, tailoring assistance to individual needs, and facilitates conversation circles. Proficient in Urdu and Punjabi, Aleem performs consecutive and over-the-phone interpretation, and has prepared professional reports. Additionally, experiences include serving as a practicum student supporting individuals with developmental disabilities, and as a secretary and interpreter for immigration lawyers. Academic qualifications include a Diploma in Social Work from Sheridan College and a Master's degree in English Language and Literature from the University of the Punjab.
