Lesley Whelan currently serves as the Head of Compliance and Risk at HLB Ireland since September 2024. Prior experience includes positions as Compliance Manager and NOC Services Manager at eir evo, and a series of managerial roles in cybersecurity and IT services at Irish Life. Earlier career steps involved working as an IT Service Management/Change Management Analyst at Canada Life, a Senior Technical Services Engineer at Mentec, and an IT Supervisor at Pearse Trust. Lesley holds multiple educational qualifications, including a Certificate in Cyberpsychology from Dún Laoghaire Institute of Art, Design and Technology, a Diploma in Mindfulness Teaching and Positive Psychology from the Irish Mindfulness Academy, and a BA in International (French and German) from University College Dublin, among others.
