Cees Oerlemans is currently a PhD candidate at Delft University of Technology, focusing on climate adaptation engineering solutions within the RED&BLUE research program. Additionally, Cees serves as a Flood Risk Consultant at HKV lijn in water, specializing in hydraulic modelling, flood risk analyses, and nature-based solutions. Previous experience includes freelance work related to the interactive water and delta platform Flows and various roles as a teaching assistant at Technische Universiteit Delft. Cees has completed a master's in Hydraulic Engineering and a master's in Science Communication from Delft University of Technology, along with a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and an academic background from Christelijk Gymnasium Utrecht.
