James Lau currently serves as Chief Product Officer at Hiya Inc., a position held since September 2023. Prior to this, James held significant roles at Microsoft, including Head of Product for Microsoft Graph Connectors and Microsoft Search, from April 2019. Previous experience includes working at Google as a Product Manager for Android Developer Tools and earlier positions at Microsoft Corporation, where James was involved as Principal Lead Program Manager for OneNote and Principal Program Manager for Bing. James began the career as an Internet Entrepreneur and has contributed to various product management roles at Microsoft from 2003 to 2012. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Applied Science in Computer Engineering from the University of Waterloo and a Master of Engineering Management from Dartmouth College.
